Mission Housing sees internal growth during pandemic

Like many organizations, Mission Housing continued to closely monitor and manage business operations amid the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff were provided ongoing training on the organization’s evolving “Infectious Disease Outbreak Response and Prevention Plan” in both April and August of 2021 and during new employees’ human resources orientation sessions.

The company also announced in August a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy, and all employees fully complied by the end of Fall by either providing proof of being fully vaccinated or receiving a religious or medical exemption, pursuant to law.  Last year, there were three employees who reported a positive COVID-19 test result, but no outbreaks resulted from any of them.

As an essential business, Mission Housing maintained a hybrid schedule in 2021 by having employees work partly from the office/sites and partly from their homes.
